@Road Announces Customer Win with Leading Locating and Utility Services Company

ELM Locating and Utility Services signs agreement for @Road MRM solution designed to improve the productivity of up to approximately 900 ELM Field Technician

FREMONT Calif. (February 9, 2006) -- @Road®, Inc. (NASDAQ: ARDI), a global provider of next-generation Mobile Resource Management (MRM), today announced that ELM Locating and Utility Services has selected @Road as its MRM solutions provider. ELM is expected to use the @Road GeoManager(SM) on-demand MRM solution that includes the powerful combination of advanced @Road location intelligence technology with integrated Wi-Fi and EV-DO high-speed data communications capabilities and on-demand MRM tools and field service reports. The @Road GeoManager solution, designed to leverage the Verizon Wireless EV-DO broadband network, is intended to give ELM the manageability and real-time visibility into the work of up to approximately 900 ELM Underground Utility Locating Field Technicians.

With the @Road GeoManager integrated Wi-Fi and EV-DO functionality, ELM field technicians can use any Wi-Fi enabled device to access back-office business applications through a secure broadband wireless data connection. The Wi-Fi connection can also enable ELM field technicians to quickly and easily download job and other information, which can lead to quicker initial response times and improved technician productivity in the field.
