Vidus Changes Its Name to @Road

Name change extends the @Road brand into Europe; Company maintains its European-based sales, marketing and engineering operations in Ipswich, U.K.

IPSWICH, U.K. – January 23, 2006 – @Road®, Inc. (Nasdaq: ARDI), a global provider of Mobile Resource Management (MRM) solutions, today announced that its wholly-owned European subsidiary, Vidus™ Limited, has officially changed its name to @Road, Ltd. The name change is intended to leverage the @Road brand equity and more closely reflect the company’s objective of adding end-to-end MRM solutions offerings in Europe.

“We believe that operating under a single, global brand is important to our long-term growth and international development efforts,” said Leo Jolicoeur, @Road chief marketing officer. “Our Ipswich operations will continue to serve as our base for European expansion and for introducing our family of innovative @Road MRM solutions to businesses in the U.K. and the rest of Europe.”

As an international company with more than 630 employees, @Road provides Mobile Resource Management solutions to approximately 150,000 subscribers and approximately 30,000 end users around the world. @Road is headquartered in Fremont, California and maintains an Asian operations center in Chennai, India, in addition to its European operations in Ipswich.

@Road, Ltd., formerly Vidus Limited, originated as a spin-out from BT Brightstar in April 2003. Today, European customers such as British Telecom, Centrica/British Gas, E.ON Hungary, TDC, and ntl have licensed Taskforce to help optimize their field service delivery.
