Deployment & Implementation

Your Taskforce solution is implemented in several stages that deliver a complete response to your requirements and a smooth transition to working with Taskforce. Each stage has a precisely defined set of recognizable outputs that ensure the implementation process is controlled and transparent.

Stage 1: Solution Validation

The Solution Validation stage defines and validates the high-level business and technical requirements and ratifies if the previously estimated project timelines, resources, development and training requirements are correct. Factors considered at this stage include project governance, deliverables, resource requirements, timescales, critical success factors and ownership of working processes. The main deliverables of this phase include a high-level solution design document, a Statement of Work and a detailed project plan.

Stage 2: Core

The Core stage of @Road Taskforce implementation has three phases : Elaboration, Construct and Transition:

Elaboration
The Elaboration phase, or detailed solution design and specification phase, builds on the Solution Validation work by undertaking detailed end-to-end functional, technical and business process work with the client project team. The objective is to determine, document and agree in significant detail the solution required to meet the stated business need. @Road consultants and technical experts work closely with the client business and technical teams, as well as any engaged system integrator, in project areas such as scheduling, data, interfaces, field client, infrastructure, MIS, training, testing and business migration.

Construct
The Construct phase—also called the Build, Test, Prove and Train phase—takes the signed-off, detailed technical/ business solution from the previous phase and constructs, commissions and configures the agreed solution. This phase undertakes the solution build, integration and end-to-end Solution Deployment Testing activities required to enable the client to migrate its business onto a Taskforce solution. It concludes with user training, allowing the project to move to the transition phase. The duration of this phase is typically driven by the amount of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) required by the client.

Transition
The Transition phase is where the client’s business migrates the initial chosen workforce and work stream onto Taskforce for real operational use. During this phase @Road Professional Services supports the client as required, typically deploying experienced resources in the Customer Operations Centre, as well as in the field, to ensure the early days of the business adopting Taskforce operationally are a success.

Stage 3: Rollout

The Rollout stage helps carry out the client’s ramp up of live users. At this stage, @Road recommends that the client engage our project management and technical consultants for on-site operational support to assist the client project team.
