@Road® Announces Integrated MRM Solution Using Panasonic Toughbooks

Combination of @Road Portico XP with Panasonic Toughbooks delivers an enterprise mobile resource solution designed to stand up to field conditions and improve worker productivity

FREMONT, CA – August 17, 2005 – @Road, Inc. (NASDAQ: ARDI), a global provider of Mobile Resource Management (MRM) and intelligent field service automation solutions, today announced the launch of @Road Portico XP(SM), the latest offering in a family of market-leading @Road MRM solutions. In addition, @Road Portico XP features the integration of patented @Road LocationSmart(SM) technology with Toughbook¨ ruggedized notebook computers from Panasonic Computer Solutions Company to form a comprehensive on-demand MRM solution that can enable enterprises large and small to increase the productivity of their mobile workers, drive-down costs and improve customer satisfaction.

Designed to withstand the rigors of the field service delivery environment, Panasonic¨ Toughbook¨ computers are put through stringent testing to simulate the harshest challenges they may face in the field. When integrated with @Road Portico XP and patented LocationSmart technology combining wireless communications, Global Positioning System and the Internet, Panasonic Toughbook computers can enable the field service technician to securely perform real-time remote tasks such as opening and updating work orders, logging in job times, viewing customer records, messaging, getting driving directions, placing orders or reviewing upcoming assignments and routes.
