November 2012,
The latest GeoManager Driver Safety release slated for late January 2013 provides you the ability to control which users have access to which Driver Safety Analytics Reports. By default, users do not have access to the Driver Safety analytics unless you enable the role assignment with access.
We encourage you to work with the Trimble Customer Service team to proactively make the necessary user profile changes prior to January 2013 to minimize service interruption
In addition, Driver Safety has undergone significant improvements. If you have the original version, you will be upgraded automatically to the latest version by January 2013 without additional costs. After the upgrade, the original features are no longer available simply because they were replaced with better versions in the latest Driver Safety package.
On May 19, 2012, GeoManager Fleet Management standard view will receive the enhancements that are currently only available through the Early Access Program:
The Start up screen now includes a progress bar that shows a percentage complete message for each GeoManager component.
There are several new device and landmark options.
There are several new map menu options.
Clustering is automatically disabled when there are less than 300 vehicles or landmarks shown on the map.
Smart Labelling is now used by default.
