Mobile workers use the barcode wand to quickly timestamp for proof of collection by scanning each customer code on arrival. @Road captures the customer name and matches it with pre-existing GPS-based location information.
They may also perform additional code scans designed specifically for on-route data collection to record obstacles—such as locked gates, debris blockage, snow/ice—extra trash, or other downtime.
