@Road Announces Customer Wins Through Alliance Program with Chemical Distribution Network

New @Road customers join an increasing number of chemical transportation and distribution companies choosing @Road Mobile Resource Management solutions

FREMONT, Calif. – - September 14, 2005 – @Road®, Inc. (NASDAQ: ARDI), a global provider of Mobile Resource Management (MRM) and intelligent field service automation solutions, today announced new customer wins as a result of the @Road alliance with the Chemical Distribution Network (CDN), a $750 million distributor-owned organization made up of 21 leading chemical distribution companies. As part of the terms of this arrangement, CDN has selected @Road as its preferred MRM solutions provider. New @Road customers acquired through the relationship with CDN include: Producers Chemical Company, Brown Chemical Co., Inc., Webb Chemical Service Corp., and Viking Chemical Company.

"Our relationship with CDN is a vital one and shows our commitment to this important vertical market," said Leo Jolicoeur, @Road chief marketing officer. "This announcement also demonstrates the accelerated business traction we've obtained in the chemical transportation and distribution industry. We look forward to building on this momentum as we continue to roll-out innovative MRM solutions to the transportation and distribution industry and other markets worldwide."

Through the @Road alliance program and agreement with CDN, the Chicago-based organization has agreed to promote @Road solutions, such as the @Road Transportation and Distribution Suite, to its members. In conjunction with its relationship with @Road, CDN has additionally agreed to promote @Road MRM solutions to all members of the National Association of Chemical Distributors (NACD), an international organization of more than 250 chemical distributor companies that purchase chemical products from manufacturers. NACD has members throughout the U.S., Canada and Europe. @Road is also a member of the NACD Affiliate Program and is exhibiting at NACD's Operations Seminar & Trade Show (OPSEM2005), being held Sept. 14-16 in San Jose, Calif. This is an annual event that attracts numerous chemical distributors and transporters.

The new @Road customers acquired through the CDN relationship join a growing list of @Road customers in the chemical transportation and distribution industry using @Road MRM solutions to drive down operating costs, improve productivity and safety, and increase customer satisfaction. This growing list already includes such NACD members such as Hubbard-Hall, Inc. and Coleman Chemical, Inc.

Hubbard-Hall Inc. has used @Road solutions for the past four years. The benefits have been nothing short of revolutionary in helping us control our fleet of trucks and provide additional security to our drivers, our products, and the community in which we operate," said Andres K. Skipp, president and CEO of Hubbard-Hall, Inc. "The @Road system allows us to track our vehicles 24/7, which has saved us money and improved the quality and speed of our service to our customers."

"Due to the quality and flexibility of the @Road system, we have saved considerable time tracking our trucks which has allowed us to be able to make better decisions when it comes to dispatching our fleet," said Joseph Mikolic, transportation manager with Coleman Chemical, Inc., a division of Interstate Chemical Company. "Not only does it save time but it allows us to give our customers accurate information about their shipments. This results in higher customer satisfaction and helps us build a solid and reliable relationship with them."

The @Road Transportation and Distribution Suite can extend the functionality of the @Road GeoManagerSM MRM solution through optimized mobile resource allocation and by delivering on-demand visibility into driver productivity. The @Road Transportation and Distribution Suite, through GeoManager data integration capabilities, can also streamline daily activities for drivers and dispatchers by minimizing, and in some cases eliminating, manual tasks and paperwork for more effective management of mobile resources.

Within the @Road Transportation and Distribution Suite are industry-tailored applications such as State Mileage Reports (for automating and streamlining the fuel tax and mileage reconciliation process); Speed Radar (for alerts to dispatchers when vehicles exceed speed thresholds); and Driver Logs (for automatic recording of daily driver activities as required by the U.S. Department of Transportation).
