@Road Appoints 19-Year IBM Veteran to Lead Asia Pacific Expansion

Ananth Siva brings to @Road extensive experience in Asia Pacific market development and alliance building from IBM

FREMONT, Calif. – September 12, 2005 – @Road®, Inc. (NASDAQ: ARDI), a global provider of Mobile Resource Management (MRM) and intelligent field service automation solutions, today announced the appointment of Ananth Siva as Vice President, Asia Pacific. The 19-year veteran of IBM will lead @Road expansion efforts in the Asia Pacific region and will be based out of @Road offices in Sydney, Australia.

"We are proud to have Ananth lead our efforts to develop the Asia Pacific market as part of our global growth strategy," said Krish Panu, @Road CEO. "He brings extensive experience as an IBM Asia Pacific Software Group Executive with a successful track record selling into Global 1000 companies. We look forward to his leadership over our Asia Pacific team and to his contributions to our international expansion efforts."

Prior to joining @Road, Ananth Siva was IBM's Asia Pacific Software Group Executive in charge of Industry Solution Sales driving solutions through a team of more than 250 software sales representatives. Earlier he was the IBM Asia Pacific Sales Executive responsible for building the company's highly successful business development program with Independent Software Vendors (ISVs). Under Siva's leadership, numerous alliances were established with a number of leading Asia Pacific ISVs who serve as the cornerstone of IBM's application software portfolio. This drove regional IBM ISV revenues from about $100 million in 1998 to more than $1 billion in 2003.

"This announcement marks another milestone in our accelerated efforts to expand in the Asia Pacific region and comes on the heels of our recent announcement commemorating the expansion of our offices, staffing and business operations in Chennai, India," Panu said. "These are all parts of our strategy to fuel long-term revenue growth though accelerated global expansion efforts and international market penetration."

Since joining IBM about 19 years ago, Siva held numerous other sales, marketing and executive management positions in the Asia Pacific region. He holds a bachelor's degree in electronics from University of Bombay, India and a Master of Business Administration in International Business from University of Sydney, Australia. Siva is also a certified Wharton Business School "Major Deal Maker."

"I am very excited to have joined a company that is in position for international growth," Siva said. "I look forward to leveraging my experience, especially from IBM, to build and expand on the competitive strengths of innovative @Road MRM solutions as we move forward with our global market development vision in the Asia Pacific region."
